Teen Vogue Fashion University: My AMAZING Experience! (Day 2)

Day two was extremely long and informative not to mention fun! We were introduced to Amy Astley (as well as some other Teen Vogue editors) by Jason Wagenheim!

Bulgari reps were there with the chance to win one of their fabulous rings, I should have entered the contest more than once so I had a better chance haha.

Pantene styling booth with stylists there to add cute braids and new styles to our hair while we waited!

My hair seemed to be doing this Miley Cyrus thing and I loved it haha. What I wore:
Vintage Necklace (Dannijo Inspired) | Mac 'Ruby Woo' Lipstick | My Mom's Oversized Sweater | Vintage Pendleton Wool Skirt/Kilt | Jeffrey Campbell 'Clinic' Wedge

And for the big event- Amy Astley and the editors, Dannijo, Thakoon, Christian Siriano, Coco Rocha, Into The Gloss writers and The Coveteur writers!

Couldn't keep my eyes off of Amy Astley's Prada heels...sold out everywhere!

As I waited to go in to see Christian Siriano speak, my friend spotted him sitting outside the Conde Nast building and my heart started beating 500000000 miles a min. I was so lucky to get the chance to meet him personally (without a huge frantic crowd) and he even signed my Teen Vogue Handbook!

The entire day I was struggling to walk since the sole of my shoe started to come off as soon as I stepped foot in Times Square. These were my very first pair of Jeffrey Campbells I bought myself when I was about 18 or 19 so me being 22, it was probably about time for them to be re-soled.

To be in the building you only dream to work in was so inspiring, this entire weekend was a boatload of inspiration. It's nice to know I'm on the right track to success in this field. After all the seminars, we headed directly to Soho on the subway for the Topshop shopping party!

There were so many goodies being served to us- mini macaroons, ice-cream with a plethora of toppings, mini donuts and delish mocktails. Every guy serving food was either a model or an actor of some sort and believe me they were absolutely gorgeous. The Soho location had four floors and I almost couldn't grasp it all. All purchases for us TVFU students were 20% off but Topshop wasn't exactly in my budget if you know what I mean. I saw so may things but put them back for the sake of my bank account. I also ordered cutout boots from Topshop online a few weeks ago (since I'm from Virginia and our closest Topshop is this one the event was at in NY) and they were too small, so I should have exchanged them in store when I had the chance...BTW it's actually cheaper to buy from Topshop online than it is in store. The shoes I ordered retailed about $140 in person but online I got them for $80, weird but I'm not complaining!
